We have an exciting new vacancy for a Nights and Front of House Manager to join our team at The Britannia Inn Glasgow.

This modern hotel with 278 rooms offers easy access to Glasgow's vibrant city centre and international airport with excellent transport links such as Charing Cross train stations which is situated opposite the hotel.

Your duties will include:

Running our busy reception desk in a professional manner with customer service at the forefront
Managing, training and developing both the Front Office and Nights teams
Managing team rotas and ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained
Supporting and motivating the team to deliver excellent guest service standards
Running Night Audit and operationally checking guests in and out as required
Maximising revenue and minimising loss within the department
Ensuring all monies, floats and accounts are managed effectively
Looking after hotel security and guest requirements overnight
Carrying out regular site walks and security checks of public areas and fire exit
Supporting other departments and being part of the Duty Manager rota
Assisting with room set ups and operational requirements where necessary
Ensuring accurate handovers between shifts and departments

The ideal candidate will have hospitality supervisory experience and a knowledge of Opera cloud would be advantageous but is not essential.
