Milestones Day Nursery is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and experienced Room Leader to join our friendly and dedicated team. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

About the Role

As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading a room team to deliver high-quality care and learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will create a welcoming environment for children and families while ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding, care, and education.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and support a team of practitioners.
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework.
Monitor children's learning and development and maintain accurate observations and assessments.
Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback on children's progress.
Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are always met.
Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment.
Support children's emotional, social, and physical development.
Mentor and support team members, apprentices, and students.
Work closely with the management team to maintain outstanding standards throughout the nursery.

Essential Requirements

Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above) recognised in the UK.
Previous experience working in an early years setting.
Experience leading or supervising a nursery room is desirable.
Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A positive, caring, and enthusiastic approach.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
