Full job description

Please note: we are currently unable to offer visa sponsorship. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities:

Provide high quality care and support to residents, ensuring their dignity, comfort and wellbeing are maintained at all times
Assist with personal care tasks such as washing, grooming, dressing and toileting where required
Support residents with mobility and encourage independence wherever possible
Engage residents in meaningful conversations and activities to promote social interaction, wellbeing and a positive daily routine
Assist residents during mealtimes where required, ensuring nutritional needs are met
Support with light housekeeping duties, including tidying rooms and helping to maintain a clean, safe and homely environment
Observe, monitor and report any changes in residents’ health or behaviour to the senior member of staff on duty
Work as part of the team to ensure high standards of care and safety are maintained

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential as training can be provided
A compassionate, patient and caring nature
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Reliable, professional and committed to providing high quality care
