Full job description

Overview
We are looking for a skilled, freelance Painter & Decorator to support on-going works across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. A full time contract/employment will be offered following a successful trial period.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primer to ensure optimal adhesion of paints and finishes
Apply paints, varnishes, and other decorative finishes using brushes and rollers
Protect surrounding areas by covering floors, furniture, and fixtures during painting activities
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards
Maintain a clean and organised workspace throughout each project
Drive between different sites as required to complete various decorating assignments

Experience

Prior experience in painting and decorating is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Freelance

Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate site travel
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and safety

Pay: From £15.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
