People Services Administrator

Hours: 37 hours per week

Location: Wakefield College

Salary: £28,316 to £29,754 per annum

We have a fantastic opportunity for a People Services Administrator to join our supportive and friendly People Services team at the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group.

It is a fast-paced environment where you will learn something new every day. If you have strong organisational skills and are committed to providing an excellent customer service, as well as being a strong team player, curious and able to use your own initiative to manage your work and solve problems, then this is a great opportunity to join a professional and dedicated team.

As a HR / People Services Administrator, your duties will extend across a range of administration tasks such as:

Preparing documentation
Recruitment pre-employment checks, as well as assisting with the whole recruitment and selection process
Processing new starters and leavers,
Updating and maintaining the HR system and records
Responding to general HR queries from managers and staff.

As a HR / People Services Administrator, you should have:

- GCSE grade A*- C / 9 - 4 in English and Maths as a minimum or equivalent.

Experience of working as part of a team delivering a customer focused service.

Experience of working in a Human Resources administration environment would be an advantage but is not essential.

You should also be able to demonstrate:

Competence in administration processes and procedures, along with high levels of accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
Confident in using IT systems, including Microsoft Office packages.
Time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work as part of a team to meet team priorities as well as the ability to work on your own initiative and find solutions.
