Full job description

PQA Rugby is looking for a dedicated, dynamic and fun Comedy and Drama teacher to run weekly drama sessions to our main academy students each week.

Teaching drama skills and different genres of theatre to main academy students each Sunday morning in 3 separate age group sessions (6-9, 9-12, 12 - 18).

Writing original scripts and directing small and large scale projects will be required, along with working alongside our other module teachers in Musical Theatre & Film & TV.

The sessions run each Saturday morning from 10am - 1pm, term time only. Full commitment would be required to attend each week.

Requirements

- Planning fun and challenging drama sessions

- Teaching

- Looking after the safeguarding and wellbeing of students

- Working alongside a dedicated company

- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to nurturing student potential.

-Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative in individual tasks.

DBS required or willingness to get one. Interviews to happen via zoom in June, trials in July and position to start in September launch.

Pay: £60.00-£75.00 per day
