We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter at Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

Fawsley Hall Hotel is located within Northamptonshire and offers our guest a luxurious stay, the hotel boasts 4 AA Red Stars and a 2 AA Rosette restaurant. For rest and relaxation Fawsley Hall is host to one of the Midland’s best destination spas and state-of-the-art wellness and health club facilities. Its formal gardens and parkland were sculpted by the renowned architect Capability Brown in the 1760s.

About the Role

The person we are looking for will enjoy maintaining a clean working environment, being active and working with the Chefs to complete daily and weekly tasks. You’ll enjoy working as part of a team and always be looking for ways to help the smooth-running of the kitchen. You may even be considering a career as a Chef in the future and if you do, we will help you to reach your goal. No experience is necessary although it would of course be welcomed, but a positive attitude and good work ethic is most important.

You’ll have previous experience in a similar environment and role
You’ll be a stickler for hygiene and be able to demonstrate best practice
You will value being part of a team, and support your colleagues
You’ll feel comfortable in a fast-paced, busy environment
Most of all, you’ll have an approachable, positive and proactive manner

This is a Full-Time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 30 hours per week, which may vary depending on business needs.
