FITTERS & FABRICATORS REQUIRED Local Work | Chester | Full-Time

Join the Thermolite Team

Due to continued growth, Thermolite is looking for an experienced and motivated tradesperson to join our team.

Thermolite manufactures premium conservatory roof replacement systems and modular home extensions from our Chester facility and installs high-quality home improvement projects throughout Cheshire, North Wales, Wirral and the surrounding areas.

We’re looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their workmanship and wants to be part of a growing company delivering high-quality bespoke projects.

The Role

This is a varied role that may involve both workshop fabrication and on-site installation, depending on experience and business requirements.

Ideally, we’re looking for someone who is willing and able to turn their hand to both aspects of the business, although this is not essential.

You may be involved in:

Fabrication and assembly of conservatory roof and extension systems
Conservatory roof replacement installations
Modular home extension installations
Windows and doors
Structural alterations
Internal finishing works
General building and construction activities

Our projects are varied and rewarding, offering far more than repetitive volume site work. You’ll work on high-quality residential installations where attention to detail and customer satisfaction are paramount.

All installation work is local to the North West, meaning you’ll generally be home every evening and won’t be expected to work away from home.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in construction, roofing, glazing, joinery, carpentry, conservatory installations, fabrication or a similar trade
Good practical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional, reliable and hardworking attitude
Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
Good communication skills with customers and colleagues

Experience is preferred, but attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are equally important.

A driving licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
