Help Shape the Future of Healthcare Education

Are you interested in contributing to the development of the next generation of healthcare and medical professionals? As a Standardised/Simulated Participant (SP), you can play a vital role in enhancing student learning and making a meaningful impact on the future of healthcare and medicine.

The University is experiencing an exciting period of growth and innovation in health and wellbeing across Worcester and Dudley campuses. The College of Health and Science brings together three academic healthcare and medical schools:

School of Health and Wellbeing
Three Counties School of Nursing and Midwifery
Three Counties Medical School

This is a fantastic time to join our Simulated Patient Programme. You will have the opportunity to work across a wide range of healthcare professions and educational programmes, while enjoying flexible working that can fit around your personal circumstances.

What is a Simulated Patient?
Simulated patients are trained individuals who portray specific patient roles, enabling health and care students to practise their communication, consultation, and physical examination skills. SPs realistically represent a patient’s history, personality, physical findings, and emotional responses. These experiences provide a crucial bridge between classroom learning and real clinical practice, allowing students to build confidence and competence in a safe, supported environment.

Appointees of Uniworc Limited will automatically be enrolled into the Aviva FlexHE defined contribution pension scheme (subject to earnings and other eligibility criteria).
