Repairs & Maintenance Team Leader
(Maintenance & Projects – multiple roles across Cornwall)

About the role
You’ll lead the day-to-day delivery of locality-based repairs, maintenance or planned projects works, ensuring services are safe, efficient and meet regulatory standards.
Working with contractors and colleagues, you’ll oversee performance, manage risks and resolve issues, while supporting voids, complaints and complex cases. You’ll play a key role in ensuring homes are maintained to a high standard and works are delivered on time, within budget and to quality expectations.
This is a varied leadership role where you’ll drive performance, support your team and contribute to continuous service improvement, with a strong focus on customer outcomes, safety and compliance.

About you
To be successful, you’ll have:
· Relevant experience in property maintenance or the built environment, including overseeing repairs or planned works delivery
· Experience managing contractors and monitoring performance
· Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities, deadlines and complex workloads
· Good analytical and data skills, using performance information to inform decisions
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
· A customer-focused approach, with experience resolving issues and improving service delivery
· Good understanding of health & safety, compliance and risk management

Our offer to you
Salary: £45,312 per year (£23.49 per hour)
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Base: Hybrid working - working from office, home, site and in the community as needed. This role requires you to typically work from the office at least 2 days per week. Your base will be:
· North East – our main office in Chy Trevail, Bodmin, PL31 2FR
· West – Dalvenie House, New County Hall, Truro, TR1 3AY
· South East – Moorswater, Liskeard, PL14 3DJ
