About the role

We're looking for a HR Programmes Lead to help shape the colleague experience across Balfour Beatty. In this influential role, you'll lead the development and delivery of people programmes that strengthen engagement, improve retention and create an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive.

Working closely with HR, Communications and business leaders across the organisation, you'll use colleague feedback, workforce insight and data to drive meaningful change. From employee engagement and retention initiatives to diversity, inclusion and belonging programmes, you'll play a key role in turning insight into action and delivering positive outcomes for our people.

This is a highly impactful role where you'll influence people strategy across the Group, partnering with stakeholders in the UK, USA and India to drive consistency, best practice and measurable results.

The location for the role is UK flexible.

What you'll be doing

Lead people programmes that improve engagement, retention and colleague experience across the Group.
Deliver the Group engagement survey and turn insight into meaningful action.
Shape and implement retention initiatives across key stages of the employee lifecycle.
Drive the diversity, inclusion and belonging agenda, embedding inclusive practices across the business.
Partner with HR, Communications and business leaders to deliver people priorities and programmes.
Support employee networks and colleague communities, strengthening colleague voice and belonging.
Analyse workforce data and feedback to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
Develop clear people reporting and insights to support decision-making.
Present recommendations and programme outcomes to senior stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement to ensure programmes deliver measurable impact.
