Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Workshop Office Assistant to support our workshop operations. This role involves providing administrative assistance, coordinating logistics, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. The ideal candidate will possess organisational skills, technical knowledge, and a proactive attitude to contribute effectively to our team. The position is paid and offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in logistics, supply chain management, and automotive services.

Duties

Assist with scheduling and coordination of workshop activities, eg,ordering parts for vehicle and workshop.
Maintain accurate records of supply chain activities and logistics documentation
Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to facilitate smooth workflow and negotiation processes
Support maintenance of Manual Maintenance Management System and records for equipment repair schedules
Provide excellent customer service by addressing queries and coordinating service appointments
Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and organising workshop documentation

Skills

Familiarity with general software. Email etc.
Mechanical knowledge related to automotive service or equipment repair is advantageous - prefered
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
Basic understanding of supply chain processes and automotive repair procedures
Negotiation skills for liaising with suppliers and clients effectively
Knowledge of automotive service standards and logistics procedures is desirable
