Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our rooms division, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating welcoming spaces for clients or guests. Prior experience in hotel, or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for those seeking a reliable and fulfilling role in the cleaning industry.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces
Change bed linens and organise supplies as required
Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and polished to meet cleanliness standards
Restock toiletries, towels, and other amenities as necessary
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Assist with specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet or upholstery cleaning when needed
Adhere to organisational policies regarding confidentiality and guest privacy

Skills

Proven experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is preferred
Basic cooking skills are a plus for roles involving meal preparation or service areas
Excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients or guests
Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness
Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team setting
Good communication skills and a professional attitude
Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
