Carpenter / General Builder

Character Builders – Dartmoor
Pay: £15.00–£18.50 per hour, depending on experience
Job type: Full-time, permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with a one-hour break
Work location: In person

Character Builders is looking for an experienced and reliable Carpenter / General Builder to join our friendly and skilled team.

We work on a wide variety of interesting projects across Dartmoor, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern building techniques. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and is looking for steady, long-term employment with a company that values quality, attention to detail and teamwork.

What We Offer

£15.00–£18.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience
Full-time, Monday-to-Friday working hours
28 days’ paid holiday per year

About You

The successful applicant will ideally have:

Previous experience in carpentry and general building

A full UK driving licence

Having your own tools and transport would be beneficial, but this is not essential.
