Job Description

Location: Flip Air Ltd, Dewsbury

Job Type: Part-Time / Zero-Hour

Department: Kitchen & Café

We are looking for a reliable, organised and confident Kitchen & Stock Coordinator to join our team at Flip Air. You will often be working independently in the kitchen, so you must be comfortable managing the kitchen and your workload without constant supervision.

Responsibilities:

Preparing and cooking customer food orders quickly and correctly.
Managing the kitchen independently during your allocated shifts.
Turning on and safely preparing the fryers and other kitchen equipment at the start of the day.
Cleaning the fryers regularly and completing the required fryer cleaning at the end of shifts.
Cleaning and sanitising all kitchen surfaces, equipment and food preparation areas.
Completing all opening and closing kitchen cleaning duties.
Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.
Sweeping and mopping kitchen floors.
Emptying bins and keeping waste areas clean and organised.
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene at all times.
Following allergen, food safety and health & safety procedures.
Checking and recording stock levels.
Informing management when stock is running low and needs ordering.
Checking deliveries and storing food correctly.
Checking expiry/use-by dates and rotating stock appropriately.
Keeping fridges, freezers and storage areas clean and organised.
Occasionally collecting stock from local suppliers using your own vehicle, when required, with authorised purchases made using the company card.
Communicating with Front of House staff regarding customer orders.

As you may be the only member of staff working in the kitchen during your shift, we're looking for someone who is confident taking responsibility, can use their initiative and can stay organised during busy periods.

Previous kitchen experience would be preferred, particularly experience using commercial fryers and other kitchen equipment.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
