Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. As a Sandwich Maker, you will be responsible for crafting delicious sandwiches while ensuring adherence to food safety standards and providing excellent customer service.

Duties

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all food safety protocols are followed.
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and preparing sauces.
Upsell additional items to customers, enhancing their dining experience while increasing sales.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations in the kitchen.
Handle customer inquiries and provide assistance as needed, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.

Requirements

Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and portion control.
Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen setting.
A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help others.
