About The Role

Service Technician

Marshall Jaguar Land Rover Oxford
£40,101 basic | £45,500 OTE based on time saved and team profit; 25 days’ annual leave + bank holidays (increases with service); Life assurance & pension scheme; Discounts on car servicing, purchase & more; Access to exclusive shopping and lifestyle perks.
Full-time | 45 hours per week, Mon to Fri from 8-5pm, 1 in 3 Sat from 8-1pm

At Marshall Jaguar Land Rover Oxford, we’re offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled and qualified Service Technician to join our high‑performing aftersales team. You’ll work in our 20‑ramp workshop, supported by a strong group of 18 Technicians, including 7 Master Technicians with extensive JLR experience. It’s a knowledgeable, friendly and supportive environment where you’ll always have expert guidance around you.

The site has been exceeding targets for the last 11 months, giving you strong earning potential and a stable, successful place to grow your career. You’ll also benefit from the full JLR training programme, helping you progress through manufacturer accreditation levels and stay ahead of the latest technologies, including EV.

In this role:

You’ll carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
You’ll handle a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks, from oil changes to cambelt changes, supported by digital write-ups and job card completion.
You’ll conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

We're looking for:

Someone with a recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
Someone with previous experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to both warranty and servicing work.
Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
Someone with a MOT Licence is a plus – full training can be provided if not yet qualified.
Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.
