Just a short walk away is Eleven Didsbury Park, a 20 bedroom Victorian home from home with a picture-perfect walled garden and covered terrace. Positions: Maintenance Assistant We’re constantly on the lookout for talented individuals who have a relentless commitment to excellence. What we are looking for?

A minimum of two years previous experience in a similar role
Exceptional organisational skills with an eye for detail
A plumbing/electrical background is desirable as well as previous general building experience; Specialist certification will be an advantage
Self motivated, ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
Resilience and drive to get things right the first time
Ability to work under pressure
Confident and professional approach
Full clean driving license

Responsibilities included:

To ensure the structure, fabric and services of the hotels are maintained to a high standard.
To perform and/or arrange property maintenance functions to ensure repairs requested are carried out promptly.
Interact with reception and housekeeping team on the daily basis to resolve maintenance issues
Conduct daily maintenance duties including plumbing, lighting, joinery and masonry, etc. Part of the role will be conducting refurbishment work to the property, which includes plastering and painting
To be able to drive to collect hotel supplies such as paint, maintenance materials, etc.
To comply with Company Health & Safety, and Fire Regulations and procedures
To undertake any other reasonable task/request by Management

The position is for up to 42 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7. You will be required to work a flexible shift pattern which includes weekends and bank holidays.
