Job Title: Industrial Cleaning Operative
Location: Belfast (BT14)
Hours: 42.5 hours per week (rotational shift pattern, Monday–Sunday)
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Pay: From £13 per hour + monthly bonus scheme (attendance & performance)

The Role

This is a hands-on role that requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to carry out physically demanding work. You’ll be working across a range of industrial and construction sites, helping deliver high standards in fast-paced environments.

The role involves lifting, bending, carrying equipment, and being on your feet for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities

Industrial & Deep Cleaning

Carry out thorough cleaning of industrial, commercial, and public areas
Clean floors, machinery, washrooms, and high-level surfaces
Use specialist equipment and chemicals safely and effectively

Builders’ Cleans / Post-Construction

Remove dust, debris, paint, and construction materials
Prepare sites to a high standard, ready for handover
Work to deadlines while maintaining quality

Health & Safety

Follow all COSHH, PPE, and site-specific requirements
Maintain a safe working environment and report any issues

Equipment Use

Operate machinery such as scrubber dryers, vacuums, and pressure washers
Ensure equipment is used correctly and report faults promptly

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

Reliable and able to work independently
Full UK driving licence
Strong attention to detail
Good organisation skills
Physically capable of carrying out the role
Previous industrial cleaning experience

Desirable:

CSR card
IPAF
