Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Officer to safeguard premises, personnel, and assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and prompt response to incidents. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility are essential.

Duties

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
Operate CCTV systems to oversee various areas and ensure security protocols are followed
Monitor access points, verifying credentials and managing visitor logs
Respond swiftly and effectively to security breaches or emergencies, including administering first aid if necessary
Implement loss prevention strategies by observing and deterring theft or unauthorised access
Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with management regarding security concerns
Enforce company policies and procedures to uphold safety standards at all times

Skills

Proven experience in surveillance, CCTV operation, or loss prevention is desirable
Knowledge of first aid procedures and the ability to respond calmly in emergency situations
Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to remain alert during long shifts and handle stressful situations professionally
Organised with the capacity to complete detailed reports accurately
Discretion and integrity in handling sensitive information
