Sales Manager – High Performance Environment

Wings Škoda | Peterborough

This is not a standard Sales Manager role.

This is the first time we have ever advertised this position externally. It represents a rare opportunity to step into one of the highest-performing Škoda sales departments in the UK. That probably tells you most of what you need to know. The Sales Manager position here doesn’t come up often, and when it does, it matters.

The Opportunity

You will lead a team of 7 Sales Executives (including a senior team member acting as a Transaction Manager) within a department delivering circa 1,200 units per year.

This is a hands-on leadership role.

You will be expected to:

Lead from the front — not manage from a distance
Support, structure and close deals where needed
Drive performance across volume, finance, product penetration and CXM
Take ownership of pipeline management and conversion (non-negotiable)
Build capability through coaching, mentoring and daily engagement

You will report directly to the Head of Operations and be given genuine autonomy — but autonomy here is earned through accountability.

What We’re Looking For

A Transaction Manager ready for full responsibility
A Senior Sales Executive looking to prove yourself in leadership

You will:

You must:

Be strong on finance and compliance
Have (or be committed to developing) coaching ability
Be hands-on and present — this is not a remote role
Hold a full UK manual driving licence (max 3 points)

OEM experience is preferred, but not essential for the right individual.

Package

£35,000 basic salary
Realistic OTE £60,000+ (£55,000 currently achieved)
Monthly, quarterly and annual bonus structure
Company demonstrator vehicle
28 days holiday (increasing with service)
