About the role

Looking for an opportunity to influence how communities are supported, connected, and empowered?

As Community Wellbeing & Resilience Manager, you'll play a key role in strengthening wellbeing, safety, and resilience across the Isle of Man. Working collaboratively with partners across government, local authorities, voluntary and community organisations, you'll lead programmes, partnerships, and interventions that support vulnerable groups, reduce inequalities, and help communities flourish. This is an opportunity to influence how communities are supported and empowered, ensuring local voices help shape solutions to the challenges they face.

This strategic, outward-facing role offers the chance to lead meaningful projects that deliver lasting benefits for people and places. You'll oversee priority workstreams within the Living and Working Well programme, bringing together diverse partners to drive innovative, evidence-based approaches to community wellbeing. From developing stronger, more cohesive communities and promoting healthier lifestyles to supporting sustainable environments and increasing societal resilience, you'll help create the conditions for communities to thrive now and in the future.
