Full job description

Permanent assistant Manager required to join our well established and growing shoe retail business. If you are in education please do not apply for this role. We need an enthusiastic, customer focused person to join our small team to sell and manage store merchandise and assist with back office administration tasks,

Reporting to the Store Manager, this is an exciting and varied role in a small and growing business. This role will suit someone hardworking, and ambitious with the option to get involved in a diverse role that will include retail sales, office administration and contributing to our IT stock control systems and use of our web admin systems. .

Job Duties:

Work as part of a store team and assist with efficient running of store.
Using our computer systems to direct in our deliveries
Contribute to achieving sales targets by maintaining good stock levels, proactive selling and excellent visual merchandising.
Serve customers as a priority, showing high standards of customer care at all times.
To process customer orders accurately and efficiently, in accordance with store operating procedures.
To merchandise and display products appropriately. Ensure products have the correct pricing.
To answer customer enquiries and deal with complaints in line with company procedures.
Processing of stock deliveries which will include moderate to heavy lifting.
Ensure high standards of housekeeping in all areas of shop, stores and staff room.

Essential:

Good customer service skills.
Flexibility to meet the needs of the business.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to work within a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Should be able to climb stairs to access store rooms.
Have an interest in fashion.
Excellent personal presentation

Desirable:

Previous retail sales experience.
Ability to carry out additional tasks as requested.
Very Competent I.T. skills on Microsoft Office.
Good knowledge of Social Media and keen interest to get involved in posting on all social platforms

This is a Permanent position and will consist of 37.5 hours per week minimum between Monday-Saturday.

Commissions paid to boost your hourly rate of pay

Extra hours available in busy periods.

Commissions paid on all sales to boost your hourly pay rate
