Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of exceptional dishes while developing your culinary expertise within a professional kitchen setting. The Chef de Partie will be responsible for overseeing specific sections of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality are maintained at all times.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Manage and oversee a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth operation during service
Assist in the development of new menu items and presentation styles
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work stations in compliance with food safety regulations
Monitor ingredient stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service delivery
Ensure all food prepared meets quality standards and presentation expectations
Support junior kitchen staff through training and guidance as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within a professional kitchen or restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role is desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
Passion for culinary arts and continuous learning in the hospitality industry
Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential
