Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely collections of payments. Your energetic approach will help foster strong relationships with clients while safeguarding the company’s financial interests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in an accounts department.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments and resolve overdue balances efficiently.
Contact clients via phone and email to follow up on outstanding invoices
Maintain accurate records of all communications, payments, and adjustments using excel and Xero software.
Assist with data entry tasks related to new client accounts, credit limits, and customer information updates.
Arranging Direct Debit set ups, credit accounts and payment plans.

Experience

Proven experience in credit control or a similar finance role within the financial services industry.
A good understanding of Excel is required and attention to detail will be paramount.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to handle client interactions professionally.
Prior experience in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is essential.
