Insight Trans Logistics Ltd is a trusted UK-based logistics and freight transport company specialising in reliable road haulage across the UK and Europe. With over two decades of industry experience, the company delivers tailored transport solutions for a wide range of needs, including general freight to oversized and specialist cargo, and complex project logistics. Whether handling routine shipments or demanding transport challenges, the company focuses on providing dependable, cost-effective logistics solutions built around customer requirements.

We are seeking a self-starting individual to join our logistics team In Worcestershire. As the Freight Forwarder, you will be responsible for proactively canvassing new business selling the core products of our overland road freight division and have the responsibility of developing and maintain profit from new accounts and development of existing business. Handling all aspect of the customer life cycle from commercial sales, operations and customs and excise processing.

Your Responsibilities

Actively solicit business for exports and imports throughout Europe.
Assist and complete Tenders for nominated area
Understand the Customer needs and provide solutions which meet their requirement to close business
Telesales requirement to ensure enough new business appointments are closed to hit targets
Receive and process customer orders
Monitor and manage cost effective collections and deliveries
Liaising with new & existing customers to establish client relationships over the phone.
Considering and planning the most effective route for freight
Tracking the movement of freight using software and satellite technology
Reporting back to clients, keeping them up-to-date with the progress of goods

Experience required:

A minimum of 3 years of experience with in the logistics industry and a customer knowledge for European exports and Imports
Thorough knowledge of both customs and excise processes required within Europe.
Understanding of European Road freight logistics.
A natural problem solver who thrives off challenges
Strong skills using MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint
Strong communication skills written and verbal
Previous freight forwarding experience in either road / European transport at least 3 years

Pay: £32,000.00-£37,500.00 per year

Experience:

Logistics sales: 1 year (preferred)
Import/ Export declarations: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
