Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be proficient in the use of both power and hand tools. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical problems and determine the necessary repairs.
Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Use power tools and hand tools to complete repairs and installations effectively.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working in the workshop or on-site.
Keep the work area clean and organised, ensuring all tools are returned to their proper places after use.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various mechanical systems.
Proficiency in using power tools such as drills, saws, and grinders safely and effectively.
Experience with hand tools including wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers is essential.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills to effectively liaise with colleagues and clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
