The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join Gillrick Metalwork in Airdrie. This is a hands-on role within a busy subcontract engineering environment, suited to someone who takes pride in producing high-standard work and enjoys being part of a supportive team. You’ll be involved in sheet metal fabrication and welding activities, helping deliver quality work safely, accurately and on time.

What you’ll do
- Carry out sheet metal work, fabrication and welding to a high standard
- Work as part of a team within a busy subcontract engineering environment
- Maintain good communication with colleagues and support efficient workflow across production
- Apply practical problem-solving skills to fabrication and production tasks
- Operate at all times within current quality, environmental and health & safety standards
- Contribute to a safe, organised and productive working environment
What you’ll bring (essential)
- Broad knowledge and experience within a subcontract sheet metal fabrication environment
- Proven experience in sheet metal work, fabrication and welding
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Strong problem-solving ability
- A consistent approach to quality and safe working practices
Nice to have
- CNC press brake experience
- Experience working within ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 environments [Sheet Meta...- Gillrick | Word]
Pay and benefits
- Excellent rates of pay, negotiable depending on skills and experience
