Senior Care Worker – Daviot Care Home, Inverness

Salary: £13.90 - £14.50 per hour + Competitive Benefits + Overtime Rates
Hours: Full-time and Part-time positions available

Located just outside Inverness in the beautiful Scottish Highlands, Daviot Care Home is a welcoming 94-bed home providing nursing, dementia, and specialist mental health care. The Role

As a Senior Care Worker, you'll work alongside our Registered Nurses to deliver exceptional person-centred care while leading and supporting the care team. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day while developing your leadership skills and progressing your career through Meallmore's training and development programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Support Registered Nurses in assessing, planning, and delivering high-quality care.
Provide hands-on care while promoting dignity, choice, and independence.
Lead, motivate, and support care colleagues to deliver excellent outcomes.
Maintain accurate care records, assessments, reviews, and care plans.
Administer medication safely and in line with procedures.
Lead by example and promote a positive, supportive culture throughout the home.

What You'll Bring

Previous experience as a Senior Care Worker or within a similar care setting.
A passion for delivering outstanding person-centred care.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Confidence using digital care systems and IT applications.
Registration with the SSSC, or willingness to register within the required timeframe.
SVQ Level 3 in Social Services & Healthcare (or equivalent)
