Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Kitchen and Bathroom Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen and bathroom layouts that meet clients’ needs and preferences. This role requires strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and proficiency with design software. The successful applicant will work closely with clients to deliver customised kitchen and Bathroom solutions from the initial enquiry to installation completion, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Duties

Welcoming customers into the showroom and delivering a premium experience
Contacting enquiries received through lead generation and booking site surveys
Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budgets for Bathroom and Kitchen projects
Create detailed and accurate kitchen and bathroom designs using software such as Arti-CAD programmes
Present design concepts to clients using our bespoke Design Consultation Room, explaining features and benefits clearly and confidently
Upsell additional products or services to maximise client satisfaction and sales opportunities
Organise project timelines, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of materials
Assist clients in selecting colours, materials, fixtures, and appliances that complement their space
Maintain organised records of client interactions, design revisions, and project specifications
Stay updated on current trends in kitchen design, merchandising techniques, and new product offerings
Proven experience in kitchen and bathroom design is preferred
Proficiency in Arti-CAD software, and other relevant design tools is essential
Strong communication skills to effectively present ideas and negotiate with clients
Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and budgeting purposes
Organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously along side the project manager while maintaining attention to detail
Experience in upselling or sales techniques can be beneficial in enhancing client engagement
Knowledge of merchandising principles related to retail or showroom environments is a plus
Working towards and exceeding individual sales targets
Working a 5 day week on a 7 day rota
