The role

Trainee Customer Service Adviser - Motor and Personal inc High Net Worth

Permanent Contract
Role Location: Stamford
37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.15pm
Comprehensive on-going training and development

The Opportunity
We are looking for a Trainee Customer Service Adviser to join our friendly and supportive team in Stamford.

No previous insurance experience is required – we provide full training and ongoing development to help you build a successful career.
This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking to start your career in customer service, sales, or financial services.

What you’ll be doing
As part of our Customer Service team, you will:

Manage inbound customer enquiries and deliver a high-quality, professional service
Generate and convert new business opportunities through effective questioning and rapport-building
Actively promote and sell insurance products, contributing to individual and team targets
Build and maintain long-term client relationships
Identify cross-selling opportunities across the NFU Mutual product range
Support customers with policy changes, renewals and queries
Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently

You’ll receive structured training and ongoing support to help you succeed in all aspects of the role.

About you:
We are looking for individuals who demonstrate:

A strong interest in sales, customer service or financial services
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence handling conversations both in person and over the phone
A proactive, target-driven mindset
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
The ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge in a commercial environment
Competency with IT systems
