Full job description

Clear Smiles is seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Dental Receptionist / Administrator to join our busy practice in Wolverhampton.

As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service and administrative skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced dental practice.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the front-of-house reception area
Welcoming patients and visitors to the practice
Booking, rescheduling, and confirming appointments
Answering incoming telephone calls and patient enquiries
Contacting patients regarding appointments and treatment schedules
Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
Processing paperwork and general administrative tasks
Taking payments and handling patient information confidentially
Supporting the wider practice team as required
Delivering excellent customer service at all times

Working Hours

The practice operates between 8:00am and 8:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, with shifts scheduled across these opening hours.

This position offers 30+ hours per week. Flexibility is required, as there may be occasional additional hours or Friday working to support practice open days, events, training sessions, or other business needs.

What We're Looking For

Previous reception, administration, or customer service experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confident and professional telephone manner
Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
Good IT and administrative skills
Previous dental or healthcare experience is advantageous but not essential
