Full job description

Lettings Negotiator

We are looking for an upbeat, courteous and professional person to join a small hardworking team. We set high standards in the service we offer our clients and need someone who can be the go-between landlords and tenants, completing deals. We can offer Full time, permanent work.

About Us

We are a growing, family run business that have been operating in the private rented sector for over 20 years. The team is small and reliant on each other, so applicants must be reliable, organised and be great communicators.

The Day to Day Role

Prepare properties ready for market, detailing information and taking photographs
Confirm diary appointments daily
Respond to lettings enquiries via email and telephone to arrange and attend viewings.
Relay information about applicants to landlords, carrying out referencing and drawing up occupational contracts
Completing inventory condition reports of properties we let.
Moving tenants out of properties and checking over the condition properties are returned in, then negotiating deposit deductions
Provide reports to management and landlords on property performance.

About You

You need to be a highly motivated, team player who can provide sensible input when conversing on property matters. Previous experience is desirable but having the right personality and a general interest in property and property investment is critical. You also need to be confident to provide constructive feedback on marketing performance and offer ideas for improvement . Applicants are expected to always be presentable and professional.

Local Knowledge of Cardiff and surrounding areas (highly important)

Hours - Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm. Rota system within office for manning out of hours phonelines - averaging 1 evening per fortnight and 8 weekends per year. 30 Minute lunch break is paid for.

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
