Full job description

We are currently looking to bring a new Receptionist into our team and can offer some flexible shift patterns depending on availability.

We are looking to for 2 shifts per week from 1.15pm to 7.15pm

We are seeking a dedicated part time receptionist to join our expanding family run, chiropractic, and health clinic at our Taunton clinic. Our clinic has a 50-year reputation of delivering high quality care to the local community in a friendly and warm environment.

This role entails a variety of receptionist duties, as well as cleaning responsibilities, and requires flexibility to cover holidays and sickness across our 3 clinics, which are based in Taunton, Chard and Wellington.

Responsibilities:

Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all.
Handle phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries, providing accurate information.
Schedule and manage appointments using our clinic management system, maintaining an organized and efficient diary.
Assist in patient registration and ensure accurate data entry for new and existing patients.
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the reception area, waiting room, and common areas, including light cleaning duties.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents as needed.
Collaborate with the clinic team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional patient care.
Cover reception duties at our other clinics as required, offering support during holidays and sickness absences.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate appointment scheduling and data entry.
Flexibility to work part-time hours and cover shifts across multiple clinic locations.
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with clinic management software or the ability to quickly learn new systems.
A friendly and empathetic nature, demonstrating a genuine desire to help others.
Knowledge of chiropractic services and a passion for promoting holistic health is a plus.
