Overview
The Receptionist at Holiday Inn is responsible for delivering excellent guest service by managing front desk operations, welcoming guests, handling reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience. The role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
Manage room reservations, cancellations, and booking inquiries.
Answer phone calls and respond to guest questions or concerns.
Process payments and maintain accurate billing records.
Coordinate with housekeeping and other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Handle guest complaints calmly and escalate issues when necessary.
Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and transportation.

Qualifications

Previous customer service or hotel reception experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good computer knowledge and familiarity with hotel booking systems.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
GCSEs or equivalent qualification preferred.desirable
