We’re hiring a Metering Field Technician, and you don’t need industry experience or formal qualifications to apply. If you’re reliable, enjoy speaking to people, and are happy working independently, we’ll provide full training to help you succeed.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being out and about, meeting new people, and delivering excellent customer service every day. You’ll be working in the field, visiting customers and representing the business professionally, so confidence and a friendly approach are key.

What you’ll be doing:

Visiting customers at their homes or businesses to carry out metering-related work (full training provided)
Speaking with customers and explaining the work you’ll be completing
Providing a friendly, professional customer experience
Managing your own daily schedule and working independently
Representing the company positively while in the field

This role is ideal for someone who:

Enjoys speaking with customers and building rapport
Is confident, approachable, and professional
Can work independently and manage their own day
Is reliable, organised, and takes pride in their work
Has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn

You don’t need experience in the energy or utilities sector. What matters most is your attitude, work ethic, and how you engage with customers.

If you’ve worked in customer service, retail, hospitality, delivery, or any role where you deal with people, your skills are highly transferable.
