Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong leadership skills and a keen eye for detail to contribute to the smooth running of our site. The position is paid and suitable for candidates committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily site operations, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget
Lead and motivate a team of workers, providing guidance and support as needed
Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce health and safety regulations
Prepare detailed reports on site activities, progress, and incidents
Analyse root causes of operational issues and implement corrective actions
Maintain accurate documentation through report writing, including incident reports and safety records
Respond promptly to emergencies or unforeseen issues, applying first aid if necessary
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project alignment
Organise training sessions for staff on safety procedures and operational protocols

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a construction, manufacturing, or similar environment
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures
Demonstrable ability to perform root cause analysis to identify underlying issues affecting operations
Experience in report writing with attention to detail and clarity
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Prior experience in conducting safety inspections and enforcing compliance standards is desirable
Relevant qualifications or certifications in health & safety or project management will be considered an advantage
