Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our team on a part-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in a dynamic food service environment. The successful candidate will contribute to preparing and serving high-quality meals while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen space. Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. A passion for food, excellent hygiene standards, and a team-oriented attitude are key qualities for this position.

Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation and food assembly in line with established recipes and standards
Support the kitchen team in food safety practices, including proper handling and storage of ingredients
Help with general kitchen duties such as cleaning, organising supplies, and maintaining hygiene standards
Serve food to customers efficiently and courteously when required
Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health regulations
Follow all safety procedures during food preparation and service
Support catering events or special functions as needed
Contribute positively to team efforts to deliver excellent customer service

Experience

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Familiarity with meal preparation, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment is desirable
Experience in food preparation or culinary roles will be considered an asset
Knowledge of serving procedures and customer service skills are beneficial
A genuine interest in developing culinary skills within a professional setting is highly valued

Shift Pattern

Availability to work one shift midweek and one shift at the weekend, predominantly evening shifts to help out during busier periods of trade.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
