The Role

Due to our continued success and expansion within the heating sector, we are currently recruiting for a Heating Service Engineer to join our growing team throughout Northern Ireland.

This role will involve servicing, commissioning, maintenance and breakdown works across a range of domestic and commercial heating systems, depending on previous experience and qualifications.

The Service Engineer must be able to work both independently and alongside a wider team of operations and technical staff to achieve project goals. The successful candidate will work across a variety of residential, commercial and industrial sites.

The Service Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Servicing, maintenance and commissioning of heating systems
Fault finding and troubleshooting heating system issues
Carrying out breakdown and repair works
Ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and meets industry standards
Providing technical support to operations teams and customers
Maintaining excellent customer service standards at all times

Essential Criteria

The successful candidate should possess:

Minimum 3 years’ experience within the heating industry in a relevant role (gas and/or oil)
Relevant domestic, commercial or oil qualifications
Full clean driving licence
Exceptional customer service skills
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Criteria

Commercial gas experience and/or qualifications (COCN1 etc.)
OFTEC qualifications
Electrical experience
Breakdown experience
Experience working across both domestic and commercial environments
