Full job description

Job Summary

As a Barista and server, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the café, and ensuring that every customer has a delightful experience. Other duties include serving traybakes, Acai bowls, toasties, cleaning etc.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas.
Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions regarding menu items.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations during food preparation and service.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Barista is essential.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage.
A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
Ability to work flexible hours, including one weekend day, and holidays as required.
