Accounts & Client Relations Executive

Location: Coupar Angus, Scotland
Salary: £12,000 - £16,000 / Annum
Hours: Part-Time (with progression to Full-Time)
Job Type: Permanent

About the Role

Middleton & Rose is seeking an organised and personable Accounts & Client Relations Executive to join our team in Coupar Angus.

This is initially a part-time position, with a planned transition to full-time hours within the next few months. The role offers excellent opportunities for professional development, increased responsibility and long-term career progression.

The role combines client relationship management with bookkeeping and accounts administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with people while developing a career within an accountancy practice.

Key Responsibilities

Acting as a first point of contact for client enquiries
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Assisting clients with requests and queries
Requesting and organising accounting records and information
Supporting bookkeeping and VAT return preparation
Assisting with payroll and accounts administration
Onboarding new clients and preparing engagement documentation
Maintaining accurate client records and databases
Liaising with HMRC and Companies House, where required

What We're Looking For

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A professional and client-focused approach
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Previous bookkeeping, administration or client-facing experience is desirable
Knowledge of any accounting and CRM software is advantageous
