Full job description

SIA Security Officer / Concierge (HU5 Area – Beverley Road)

Location: Three residential premises in the HU5 (Beverley Road) area
Pay: National Minimum Wage
Hours: Various shifts available (to be discussed at interview)

We're looking for a reliable, approachable and caring individual to join our team as an SIA Security Officer with a strong concierge and resident support focus.

This is not a traditional security role. You'll be the friendly face of our residential properties, providing reassurance, assistance and a visible presence for residents and visitors across three nearby premises.

Key Responsibilities

Providing a welcoming and professional concierge service.
Conducting regular security patrols of the buildings.
Monitoring access and ensuring only authorised persons enter the premises.
Maintaining clear and effective communication with residents, colleagues and management.
Accurately reporting incidents, concerns and all significant movement or activity on site.
Completing incident reports, daily occurrence logs and handover notes to a high standard.
Offering assistance and support to residents where appropriate.
Reporting maintenance issues, incidents and safeguarding concerns.
Liaising with emergency services and management when required.
Helping maintain a safe, clean and secure environment.

What We're Looking For

A valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to produce clear and accurate reports.
A calm, patient and compassionate approach.
Reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently.
Basic IT skills for reporting.
Previous concierge, security, care or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
