NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is one of the largest healthcare systems in the United Kingdom, employing approximately 40,000 staff across a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million people, and to a wider population of 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.

The role:

Within the Health & Community Care Directorate, the Primary Care Team are responsible for the direct delivery of Primary Care Transformation through key programmes of work including Primary Care Improvement Plan, Unscheduled Care and other relevant initiatives. The team, leads on service planning and development, supporting delivery of improvement activities under the direction of the Primary Care Transformation Manager. Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:

Greenock Health and Care Centre
Monday to Friday

Key responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate multiple improvement projects ensuring delivery within agreed timescales and outcomes
Support service redesign, policy implementation and improvement initiatives aligned to national and local priorities
Analyse complex data, produce reports and present findings to inform decision making and service development
Facilitate collaboration and engagement across services, stakeholders and partner organisations
Develop and maintain monitoring systems, audits and performance tracking tools
Lead or support engagement activities with staff, patients and service users to inform improvements
Build effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams and external partners to drive continuous improvement

Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job:

Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in business administration, project management or related discipline
Experience of applying project management techniques and supporting service improvement initiatives
Strong analytical skills with experience in data management, reporting and interpretation
Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital systems including data and content management tools
Excellent communication skills with ability to produce high quality reports and presentations for varied audiences
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet challenging deadlines
Strong organisational, problem solving and interpersonal skills with a commitment to continuous improvement
