Full job description

We are looking to recruit a full time, permanent fryer to cook and serve food in our busy takeaway and restaurant. Experience in a similar role and setting preferable, although full training can be given to the right candidates. You must have a strong work ethic and be physically fit and able to work on your feet. You must also have great communication skills (if English is your second language, you must be able to speak, read and write English to a high standard) and proven experience in customer service. This job requires working during the day, in the evenings and over weekends, both during both term time and school holidays.

Duties will include preparing and cooking hot food and serving customers to the highest standard. You will also be required to take and process orders, manage cash and credit card transactions on the till and undertake end of night cleaning.

The role is very fast paced and demanding so the ability to work under pressure is vital. You should show initiative, have pride in all aspects of your work and have great communication skills. Food Hygiene qualifications an advantage.

You must be aged 18 or over.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
