Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Business Administration Apprentice to join our team. This paid apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in office administration and develop essential skills for a career in business support. The role involves supporting daily administrative tasks, assisting with organisational duties, and contributing to the smooth operation of our office environment. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, organised, and possess strong communication skills.

Key Areas of Learning/ Responsibilities

On a job Training will be focusing on you developing the following skills: -

· Providing office support in all areas of business administration

· Assisting with departmental financial records

· Working confidently and maintaining business customer relationships

· Files and documents control management

· Use of company software, portals and databases

· Customer services: expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise customer satisfaction.

· Customer service: Using customer portals and follow up with customers to make sure they are satisfied with any documentation provided. Ie invoices/job cards.

· Introduction to project management

· Preparation of reports

Business Governance and understanding the business operations

Key Requirements

· Level 2 in English and Math (GCSE or equivalent Grades A*-C/9-4 in Maths and English essential.

· Good telephone manner

· Willingness to multi-task and be flexible based on the needs and demands of the business.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Self-motivated, can work independently and as a team.

· Friendly, approachable, enthusiastic and positive

· Good organisational skills

· Ability to work independently on tasks and the use of initiative.

· Reliable and good time keeping

· Must be able to show commitment to the role and the company as a whole.

· Be enthusiastic with a strong desire to learn and be proactive.

Desirable:

· Use of Excel/ ability to further learn to advance

· Ideally GCSE and/or A Levels in IT/Business Studies.

Having the right attitude, work ethic and commitment to your education as well as your employment are essential requirements to this role.

Pay: From £16,224.00 per year
