Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely to multiple locations within designated routes. This role requires excellent organisational skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to manage time effectively. Previous delivery driver experience and a valid <PERSON> driver licence are essential. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on customer satisfaction and safety.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely drop-offs
Load and unload goods, including heavy lifting when necessary
Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and obtain necessary signatures upon receipt
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues
Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the delivery vehicle
Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly to ensure safety and compliance
Follow health and safety procedures at all times during deliveries

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within commercial driving or warehouse environments
Valid <PERSON> driver licence with a clean driving record
Strong driving skills with knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when handling goods
Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers and team members
Organised with the ability to manage multiple deliveries within tight schedules
Physical fitness to handle long periods of driving and manual handling tasks
Good organisational skills to plan routes effectively and optimise delivery times

Pay: £80.00-£120.00 per day
