The role of the Housing Surveying Admin Assistant is to assist the team in maintaining and upgrading the Councils Housing stock, you will be providing support to the asset team across a wide range of high value capital projects and repairs and maintenance.
Work that the role will be involved in are new build, planned maintenance, cyclical maintenance, large responsive maintenance work and asbestos management and to ensure the planning and management of the Asset Management systems, ensuring the application is set up, tested, upgraded and operates.
The role will require that all repairs and maintenance inspections are recorded accurately and the relevant job tickets are raised within the relevant KPI’s, ensure all relevant documents are added to the job ticket.
You must be confident with the use of IT and capable of navigating through MS Office, Outlook and have knowledge and skills in the use of databases and autocad.
You must be confident to work independently although support from the broader team is always available. We require dynamic, innovative and forward-thinking people to join our team, it is preferable that you have some experience of working in a person-centred environment or with older and more vulnerable client groups although full induction and ongoing training is provided.
