Full job description

Wilson Associates Ltd are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and comply with safety regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about quality assurance and continuous improvement within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The Quality Inspector will play a vital part in maintaining our company's reputation for excellence by conducting thorough inspections and analysis of products throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
utilise measurement tools and testing equipment to verify product quality and consistency.
Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records for traceability purposes.
Identify, document, and report any defects or non-conformities to the relevant departments for corrective action.
Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues promptly and effectively.
Assist in implementing quality assurance procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
Analyse inspection data to identify trends or recurring issues, providing insights for process enhancements.

Requirements

Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data and identify root causes of quality issues.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to maintain accurate records.
Proficiency in using measurement tools, testing devices, and inspection software.
Good communication skills to effectively liaise with production teams and management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in quality management or related fields are desirable but not essential. This position offers a rewarding opportunity for individuals committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety within our organisation.

This is on a 2 shift rotation, days and late shift, applicants must be flexible

Pay: £12.71 per hour
