Rebound Care and Support are seeking to recruit flexible experienced spinal injury support workers to support our client. Our client is a male who is 19 years old and lives in his property in Darlington area.
Our client suffered the effects of an acquired brain injury, and requires support in order to access social, vocational and recreational activities. He is highly independently minded but requires social enabling and rehabilitation support. You will be working on 1:1 basis.
This role involves supporting client in his routine, ensuring his safety, comfort, and well-being. Focusing on rehabilitation, structure, emotional well-being, and promoting independence.
The role will focus on providing personalised support to enhance our client’s independence, supporting with rehab structure, well- being. You will be working in close collaboration with the client’s multi-disciplinary team, the client and his family. Part of the role would involve driving – therefore, access to your own car with business insurance and a full UK driving licence is essential.
Shifts:
Monday to Friday – 5h per shift (25h in total)

Responsibilities
- Following personalised support plans and risk assessments
- Assist individuals in accessing community to improve their quality of life.
- Support individuals in setting and achieving their personal goals.
- Provide guidance and support to the client, ensuring best practices and a person-centered approach.
- Assist service users attend health activities.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of all support provided, maintaining professional and respectful documentation.
Experience
- We are looking for supportive, patient and committed team members to provide the care during the day.
- The Ideal candidates will need to have experience in working with BI clients, attention to detail and have a can-do attitude.
Training & Background Checks
An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
