Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our friendly dental practice. This role combines patient care with administrative duties, providing essential support to ensure smooth daily operations. The successful candidate will be a compassionate professional with excellent organisational and communication skills, eager to deliver high-quality dental care and customer service. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive environment.

Duties

Assist dentists during clinical procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise dental instruments in accordance with health and safety standards
Greet patients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage the reception desk efficiently
Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems and update details as necessary
Manage telephone enquiries professionally, providing information and booking appointments as required
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, billing, and processing payments
Ensure the practice complies with health regulations and maintains a clean, organised environment

Skills

Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting is desirable
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
Good IT literacy, including familiarity with dental practice management software
Ability to work well within a team and build rapport with patients of all ages
Professional attitude with attention to detail and a caring approach towards patients

Pay: From £14.00 per hour
